I spent a while working in Arran in summer 76 testing telephone cables. Fond memories of sitting on Brodick beach past closing time drinking our kerryoots. Bars closed at 10pm then and it was still daylight. AWorked in Skye the following year. Was only a 50 yard crawl from Broadford Bar to my caravan Never got lost once Did I mention I met the wife in Skye I'm in  and if your phone's never worked properly in Arran since 76 don't blame me.
